The Chatham County Narcotic Investigation Division will seek out, locate, and close with the criminal element of Chatham County (ie. drug dealers, illegal gamblers, etc.) by conducting undercover sting operations, surveillance operations, highway drug interdiction, and marijuana eradication. We will utilize outstanding investigative techniques, knowledge, skills and tactics along with dedication to duty in order to bring those whom are committing these crimes to justice.

The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Investigation Division (NID) is made up of one Lieutenant, four Sergeants and four Interstate Criminal Enforcement deputies.
